Home Security
A home security alarm is a comprehensive collection of interconnected equipment which is designed to safeguard a property or apartment from unwanted intrusions. There are several classifications of such systems, ranging in expense and complexity. Generally, such systems are grouped into five basic components: 1} A network of devices and sensors with wireless or wired interconnectivity. Usually, such wireless networking is done by wireless interconnectivity modules which may be small desktop units or huge, complex systems.
These devices are normally hard-wired to the building structure or a nearby power point. Such devices are designed for general usage, either to monitor a large area or for specific areas, like an apartment or a house. Some of the popular wireless home security devices include wireless doorbells, smart phones with cameras, thermostats, motion detectors and other intruder detection products. Some products are designed specifically for industrial and commercial buildings, where high-tech burglar alarms are needed.
On the other hand, there are also specialized devices for specific locations like a security dog, motion detector cameras for apartment complexes, gated communities, etc. There are even smart devices which can detect the presence of a pet inside the home and inform the owner about it. With the help of a Hub, all the mentioned products can be connected and operated through a single control panel, providing seamless home protection.
