Some products have nothing rye in them but have the least flavor and highest alcohol content of any whiskey in the world. Bourbon whiskey comes from fermented mash distilled from grain or seeds of wild oats. It has a high level of alcohol, which is why it is sometimes called “brown” whiskey.
