Here are eight of the best kinds of whiskey to have available to you. The products below all have at least 51% rye. Some products have nothing rye in them but have the least flavor and highest alcohol content of any whiskey in the world. They are usually available in a number of different products including whiskey sippers, mixers, single malt scents and even in glass or bar mixers for drinking on the porch or in the evenings after dinner.
Bourbon whiskey comes from fermented mash distilled from grain or seeds of wild oats. It has a high level of alcohol, which is why it is sometimes called “brown” whiskey. Other great whiskeys are Canadian whiskey, American whiskey and Irish whiskey. Most of these products have a very similar distillation process, which is why there is such a wide range in price between different brands. Regardless of which brand you choose, your next whiskey purchase should be made from whiskey that contains no corn or wheat; however, if you do decide to buy a whiskey that does have corn in it, use a neutral grain like oatmeal.
