Couples
Couples often need a bit of help to understand how their relationship is working. There are certain questions that many couples wonder about that don’t have answers because the couple isn’t asking them. For example, the big question: What do you do to make your relationship better? The answer to this question varies from one couple to another. Some couples talk about the good and bad habits they have and use those as a guideline on how to improve their relationship.
Some couples talk about different things in their relationship and how each partner pulls away or keeps the relationship going. These conversations can be extremely descriptive and even include descriptions of the opposite forces at work. A common descriptive question is “Do you think your marriage is worth it?” The answer to this question can be determined by looking at what the couple has done together. If one partner has done more damage than the other, then it’s likely that the relationship isn’t worth saving.
Couples who have been together for a long time may have gotten used to the same issues and difficulties that everyone faces. However, this marriage is unique because the couple has built a system that works even if these differences happen. This system has become a kind of mental autopilot so there’s no need for the same tactics every time a problem arises. Instead, these tactics become second nature so that the two instantly identify what is causing each problem and how to fix it. By creating a new plan for the couple to work with each problem, they can easily fix any obstacle and turn their relationship into an unstoppable force.
